WOOD SHIELD 1000™ flame retardant is the usage friendly intumescent spray formula that can be used on any wood surface. Wood Shield™ is specially formulated to target new or existing wood constructions that appeal to surrounding areas of your home or property. Some examples are: raw furniture, doors, cabinets, shelving, decking, gazebos, patios, trim and much more.

Excellent for soft woods or hard woods used for aesthetic properties. Hard wood furniture composed of cherry, mahogany, oak and others can all be treated by W-1000™ for a beautiful finish and powerful fire resistance.

Properties and Benefits

Wood Shield 1000™ is an invisible, water-based resin that deeply penetrates wood surfaces by an intumescent action given in its trade secret formula. Easier to use for internal wood applications without the need for ventilation while spraying.

W-1000™ is easy to apply and has no petroleum derivatives or PBDEs. Treated surfaces are non-toxic and help to resist black mold, mildews and even insects. It also contains an UV inhibitor which guards against external sun rays for longer lasting protection on outside surfaces.
